  • 1961

    Completed Matsushita Type-One Housing Unit, the origin of the houses of Panasonic Homes

  • 1963

    The company's predecessor, National Housing Materials Co., Ltd., founded as an independent housing company

  • 1977

    Completed its first urban development project, Hirakata Pana Town

  • 1982

    Renamed National House Industrial Co., Ltd.

  • 1983

    Acquired certification of energy efficiency performance for the first time in Japan for the excellence of the building and heating equipment of National House 55

  • 1984

    Opened a housing test center at the Koto Plant (the present Head Plant) to conduct performance tests using a full-scale house

  • 1991

    • Achieved a record high 942 orders (houses) in a month
    • Started sales of Pana Grande, a mid-rise prefabricated building
  • 1995

    • Established a company-wide task force at the headquarters for tackling the aftermath of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake right after the disaster
    • None of the houses built by Panasonic Homes in the area had completely or half collapsed, thereby demonstrating their strength, and built 600 temporary housing units
  • 2002

    • Renamed Panasonic Homes Co., Ltd.
    • Started strengthening the renovation business
    • Started the "Lifelong companion system," offering a long-term (20-year) house warranty system
  • 2003

    Started an aging life business, with the opening of retirement homes for the elderly

  • 2005

    Opened a company-operated nursing home for the elderly

  • 2010

    • Started an entire building leasing system of specialized housing with nursing care services for the elderly
    • Completed a research building for industry-academia collaborative research project 'CO2 ± 0 (Zero) House" led by the University of Tokyo and other organizations
  • 2011

    • Conducted real-scale vibration tests using a house built with a seismic-resistant steel frame structure (HS structure)
    • Released the concept of the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town development
  • 2013

    Constructed first prototype detached house overseas, in Malaysia

  • 2016

    Unified the renovation brands into Panasonic Reform

  • 2017

    Made the Vieuno multi-story residential building with a heavy steel frame structure compatible with up to nine stories

  • 2018

    • Renamed PanaHome Corporation
    • Started sales of houses in the smart town SAVASA with approximately 2,500 housing units built in Indonesia
  • 2019

    • Introduced a 35-year initial warranty period for continued peace of mind and satisfaction for owners even after construction
    • Made a full-fledged entry into the lodging business incorporating multistory houses and operational support
    • Opened Patona Suita Kento, positioned as a pilot model project for elderly housing, which is promoted in cooperation with Suita City in Osaka Prefecture
  • 2020

    • In January, became a group company of Prime Life Technologies Corporation, which was newly founded by Panasonic Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation with the aim of achieving future-oriented town development
    • Introduced the "Earthquake Secure Warranty System," which covers the reconstruction or repair of houses built by Panasonic Homes in the event of total or partial destruction due to an earthquake
  • 2021

    Established the Up DATE City Council in collaboration with
    Date City in Fukushima Prefecture, and local companies
    and organizations, with the aim of realizing a city of
    intergenerational exchange and lifelong participation

  • 2022

    • Won the 2021 Energy Conservation Grand Prize in recognition of net zero energy house (ZEH) equipped with geothermal eco-navigation ventilation system 'HEPA+"
    • Opened "Suita SST," a multi-generational, health-centered smart town aimed at creating a cross-sector town through inter-industry co-creation
  • 2023

    Celebrated 60th anniversary

  • 2024

    • Completed the "Lions Orthopedic Clinic" in collaboration with a professional baseball team
    • Received the Prime Minister's Award for Distinguished Service in Disaster Prevention 2024 from the Cabinet Office for disaster prevention initiatives in the Togoshi Ginza Shopping District
  • 2025

    Commenced full-scale operations of a new plant "Mirai Building," which was promoted by the Koto Innovation Promotion Project, which is aimed at solving social issues from the perspective of production and logistics
